Memorial Obituary – Entered Into Eternal Rest Monday, July 15, 1968
Mrs. Alta J. Drake, 84, 1631 Poplar St, The Pines, died at 6:20 last night at St. Anthony Hospital. She had been ill for six months. Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert E. Murphey officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from tomorrow afternoon.  Mrs. Drake was born in Madison County, Ind May 22, 1884, the daughter of George W. and Louisa Morgan Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy, June 6, 1944. Surviving are a son, Edwin, The Pines; two daughters, Mrs. Louis Brown, this city and Mrs. Sanford Cloncs, Roachdale, Ind; 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She attended the Pines Bible Church.

His father was Isaac Allgood.  Isaac, PO Carpentersville, Farmer, Section 20, son of R. and Mary Pilcher Allgood, was born in Surry County, NC Dec 2, 1826; settle din this (Putnam) County, Monroe Township in 1852.  Married July 18, 1850, to Caroline Coffman.

Children’s names:
James, Susan, Addison, Sarah, Mary, Martin, Thorton, Thomas, Eugene, I*da and (Beverly William).  This was taken from an old Plat Book of Putnam County belonging to Floyd Yochum of Morton, Ind or Greencastle, RR #1.

Marion T. Clonce January 15, 1890 to February 1, 1890.
George W. Clonce January 25, 1879 to September 9, 1887.  This was taken from Morning Star Cemetery in NC. Other Children’s names: John Clonce; William Riley; Pulliam, Harrison, Charlie, Allen, Dollie, Horace = 11 children in the family.

Beverly William Allgood, Father, Born September 22, 1866 Died Feb 27, 1946 he was 80 years old.
Clara Elizabeth Allgood, Mother Born Aug 18, 1870 died March 18, 1947. She was 77 years old. Maiden name was King.
Brother Clarance W, son of Beverly and Clara Allgood, Born March 23, 1897 and died September 13, 1897 age 5 months and 21 days.
Leland Forrest Allgood Born July 2, 1899.
Beverly, Clara and Clarance are buried at the New Maysville Cemetery.
